Kaia

Kaia is a very pretty, polite, girl, and we think she's about 7 - 8 years old. She came to us as a stray, brought-in by someone who found her. She's been charming and friendly with us, and she enjoys hanging out in the office with the staff during the day. Kaia is easy-going, undemanding, and is a great companion. She likes treats and has a gentle mouth when taking treats. She knows the command "sit" and she walks well on leash. While she does go out for walks with you, we get the impression she is more of a home body, so long really walks are not necessary. She's content to just hang out near you on a comfy doggy bed.<br/><br/>She's been on overnights, just for a doggy day out of the shelter, and we learned that she is frightened by thunder and will seek comfort and reassurance from her people. Oh, and she's not a big fan of riding in the car, so she's happy to stay home unless she might have to go to her vet. If an easy-going faithful friend and companion is your preference, then maybe she's a match for you. Want to meet her? Give us a call and we will set up a meet-and-greet.
