Kai/Duke's Story

Labrador Retriever/Hound (we are guessing!), 1.5 years, 55 lbs, MALE.

Kai has blossomed into a calm and affectionate companion who loves cuddles, quiet walks, and napping in cozy spots. We are a small operation doing what we can in Mexico.
Please help us by adopting one of our incredible dogs.
We invest time and love into these incredible animals. We feel that every life matters.
We are currently REDUCING our adoption fee to way below cost in order to facilitate finding homes quickly. If you can contribute more, it would be greatly appreciated.

Our dogs are mostly house trained but since they live mainly outside, plan on working on that. As his foster, I have worked with him extensively for the two months I had him. I rarely leash him, as he stays right with me. But on leash, he behaves and does not pull. He is the sweetest, best dog and will make a lucky person a very good pet.

UPDATE: Kai was adopted about 9 mos ago (and renamed Duke), living in a condo. His "mom" has developed health issues and has had to return him. He is the sweetest dog, has had more training with her. We have decided that he would do better in a home with a fenced yard, rather than a condo. He loves to walk, run and play.

Los Perros Perdidos Foundation's Adoption Policy
We are rather strict. Our adoption application is extensive and comprehensive. We require a phone conversation prior to accepting the application. We don't do home checks but we require a video of the space, the rooms, the yard, the beds for the dog. We require photo and video plus text or email updates regularly, particularly at first. We invest a lot of our emotional beings into these dogs and we need to make sure they go to the best possible homes
