Meet Kai

Kai is a very well behaved, 70-80 pound dog. Kai is timid and shy but appears to be housebroken. Kai is good with other dogs as long as they are gentle. Kai appears to be good around children, as long as her space is respected and he is not cornered. Kai is on thyroid medication but his condition is very well-controlled.

FURS holds monthly adoptions stands where those interested can meet our four-legged crew available for adoption. Our next adoption stand will be on May 11th, 11 am - 1 pm, inside the Petco at Westchester Commons. (349 Perimeter Drive, Midlothian 23113) We can make alternate arrangements for meeting the FURS dogs but we would require an approved application for adoption. There is no fee or obligation with submitting an adoption application and applications can be completed online at www.fursdogs.com

A required step of our adoption process is to conduct a home visit. Since FURS is a very small, all-volunteer rescue, we can only support our adoption process to homes in the Richmond, VA and surrounding localities area.
