Kahlua - Adoption Pending! German Shepherd Dog Bothell, WA

UPDATE: Sweet Kahlua had her ACL surgery January 14th and has started an arduous 12 weeks of recovery. Sadly, the damage was much more extensive than we anticipated. Kahlua has obviously been suffering and in pain for quite some time.
We are so very thankful to Dr. B at Healthy Pets Animal Hospital who performed this intricate surgery to give Kahlua a new start at life. We are also beyond grateful for her wonderful foster parents, Nita and Robert, who graciously took this deserving dog into their home and are loving Kahlua like their own. They have also committed to nursing her through her rehabilitation.

Welcome KAHLUA! This beautiful, gentle sweetheart has joined us just in time for Christmas! Kahlua is about 6 years old, was raised with a family with children, knows basic commands and is the perfect house pet. Still plenty playful, she loves to play fetch, tug-o-war, and loves her walks. She adores children and reportedly gets along fine with other dogs.
Sadly, Kahlua lost her home because she needs ACL repair surgery that the family could not afford. When Northwest German Shepherd heard her story, we just had to step in to help. Kahlua will have ACL repair surgery in a few weeks and then will recuperate in her loving foster home.
We will keep her profile posted as she heals and gets ready for a fresh start in a new home.
