Kaba's Story

Please Read Before Applying!
Kaba is NOT your average puppy or family house dog. He is an Anatolian Shepherd — a powerful working livestock guardian breed that requires breed experience, consistent training, and a job to do. This breed thrives on farms and large properties, especially around livestock such as goats or sheep. Please do your research before applying. Kaba is not a novelty pet.

Meet Kaba

At just 6 weeks old and already 10 pounds, Kaba is growing into a big, confident boy who will likely top 100 pounds full grown. This handsome Anatolian Shepherd puppy has a huge personality packed into an even bigger future body. He’s smart, opinionated, fearless, and not shy about letting you know exactly how he feels.

Kaba loves other dogs, cats, and just about every creature he meets. He’s also friendly with strangers and already beginning his early training journey. He knows the command “sit,” is working on potty training, and is learning quickly. Starting training and structure early is incredibly important for a breed like this, and Kaba will need an experienced owner committed to continuing that work.

A farm or large fenced property is a must. Anatolian Shepherds are independent livestock guardian dogs bred to protect, patrol, and think for themselves. They are loyal and devoted, but they are not suited for apartment living or inactive homes.

Kaba is recovering well after his hernia repair. He has had his first round of vaccines and will be neutered when he is of age. He will be ready for release after 8 weeks of age.

If you have experience with livestock guardian breeds and are looking for a smart, driven working companion, Kaba could be an incredible fit.

If you are interested in giving Kaba his furever home, please fill out an online adoption application by copying and pasting the URL into your browser:
https://www.jotform.com/213633516976160
