Juno's Story

Meet Juno!

Juno is a 13-year-old terrier mix with plenty of pep left in her step! This sweet senior still loves to play, but her favorite thing is spending time snuggled up with her person. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or sharing a bed at night, Juno is a champion snuggler and devoted companion.

Juno is in the early stages of a collapsing trachea. Right now, she only needs medication when she gets overly excited and is otherwise doing very well. She recently had a full veterinary checkup, including a dental cleaning, and received a great report with no extractions needed.

Juno would do best as an only pet so she can have all of your attention. While she has done well with some dogs, she prefers not to share her home and bonds very closely with her favorite person. Because of this, she can become anxious when she can't find them, so a home where someone is around most of the time would be ideal. She occasionally takes trazodone when she feels especially stressed.

She is dog-door trained and has had perfect house manners since coming into foster care several weeks ago.

If you're looking for a loyal best friend who will shower you with love, companionship, and endless cuddles, Juno is ready to spend her golden years by your side.

Juno has been spayed, is current on vaccines, has tested negative for heartworm and is microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting Juno, please complete an adoption application on our website (uaaf.org/adopt).
