Junior's Story

Junior is a very social dog, loving up to volunteers and visitors alike. He likes to take walks and he rides good in the car. He came from a home with other Dachshunds and does good with some of the smaller dogs at the city pound. He seems to prefer snooping around the yard rather than chasing toys. He doesn't seem to mind the cats. He's a nice sized lap dog with durability for a walking or hiking partner. He's a little on the chunky side, weighing 16 pounds. In order to stay healthy Dachshunds should never be allowed to get overweight. He was born in 2008.
