Junie Shepherd Mix San Diego, CA

Hello fren! My name is Junie and I’m a female, 18-week old lab mix. I’m the runt of my litter but I like the term “fun-sized” more. I weigh 10 lbs. and will likely grow to be a small to medium-sized dog. I am “tri-pawed” as I was born with an underdeveloped leg. I can get along fine with 3.5 legs, but will need a little help getting over thresholds and traveling longer distances. My siblings and I were found in a junkyard with our mom before the kind people from The Cantu Foundation rescued us!

Despite being so young, I am almost fully potty trained and am crate trained. I don’t have much experience with leash training, but one of my favorite ways to get around is in my sling carrier, and yes, it’s as adorable as it sounds! Besides being your sidekick in my sling, I am happiest when cuddling with another dog or cat and I love a good car ride. I’m a sweet, cuddly, spunky little girl who gets along with just about everyone: dogs, cats, and small children. I get some mild separation anxiety and whimper a little bit after you leave, but with some training, time, and patience, there’s no reason I can overcome this. I would be the perfect addition to a furever home that can accommodate me, preferably with a single story home and gentle family members. Even though I am a little tri-pawed, I am a loving pup who is easy going and easy to care for.
