Juneau - Siberian Husky - Female - Estimated DOB: 6/27/2024 (Approximately 2 years old) Weight currently 45 pounds.<br/><br/>This little beauty came off the streets of our city. She appears to have been well loved and cared for. I fully expected her previous owner(s) to have reached out to us but they never did. I am now taking applications for adoption.<br/><br/>Juneau is the complete package. She loves people, loves her pool time, and loves to play with her toys. I will say that everything I've seen so far leads me to believe she will do well with dogs that are her size and easy going. This dog is INCREDIBLY sweet. I'm not looking to pair her with a dominate dog and risk her getting bullied. Due to this breed known for having a prey drive, I'm not risking putting her in a home with cats. There is no true way to test dogs with cats in an animal shelter setting. Without knowing Juneau's previous history, it is not worth risking any animal by just guessing she'll do well with a cat.<br/><br/>HUSKIES ARE NOT FOR EVERYONE! They're more than just a beautiful animal. Their needs have to be met in order for them to thrive. They're escape artist. <br/>It's a plus if you're someone with breed experience. These dogs are a perfect mix of being independent and also feircly loyal to their pack (You). Juneau LOVES being with people. She wants to be included. <br/><br/>I love this breed's history and it's no secret that I love Juneau. This dog at one point I believe was truly loved.
