June Bug's Story

Junebug is about 2 years old and the SWEETEST girl you will ever hope to meet! In addition to being sweet as a Christmas cookie, she is absolutely gorgeous to look at...with her beautiful face, creative coloring and pork chop ears.

She loves to play with her other doggy friends, and we think she'll do best in a home with another doggy friend. We haven't really been able to cat test her, but when she has encountered friends of the feline persuasion, she hasn't been very reactive.

Junebug was picked up as a stray in West TN, and we are guessing that she was abandoned because she probably had very little interest in hunting. She knew she wasn't meant to be running the fields and would prefer to have a cozy warm home and snuggly couch.

If you're ready to add a snuggly bug to your home, apply to adopt today at www.cprdogs.com.
JuneBug is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. The adoption fee is $500 which includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccinations, flea/tick and heartworm preventatives, and the mandatory CT HB 5368 fee. This dog tested negative for heartworms.

Visit our website to see our weekend Events here! Pups with the designated “meet me” next to their names are in CT and ready to attend adoption events. Please check with your adoption coordinator if you are interested in a specific dog prior to coming to an event, as a dog's availability to attend can change at any time. We can not guarantee approval on site at the events, so we recommend applying ahead of time. You can apply at the event, but the application process may not be able to be completed the same day. If you are not pre-approved, you are still welcome to come and meet pups at the event!

If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05.

TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation.

To get the ball rolling and ensure that you receive a response from one of our hardworking volunteers, please complete our application which is online at www.cprdogs.com. Because our volunteer time is limited and we receive many emails each day, we can only ensure that you will receive a response by filling out the application. If you do not fill out the application you may miss out on the pup to someone else while you are emailing questions to us. Once we have your application we will process it and if approved, discuss with you the adoption process and the availability of the pups you are interested in. We CONSTANTLY rescue new pups as others are adopted, and our site is updated daily, so if the pup you apply for is adopted we can assist in matching you with another pup. To ensure that you receive a response, please do not contact us via the petfinder.com contact form. Please fill out our application at www.cprdogs.com instead. Thank you!
