She and her brother came to us as bottle babies. She was born March 2nd and is in the 28# range at 13 weeks. <br/><br/>Being a bottle baby - she has been very socialized. Her first foster had a toddler, other dogs. At 6 weeks, she went to a foster whose very friendly orange cat became a constant companion to the pair. After her brother was recently adopted, she went to a different foster home to learn crate training (doing great) and all the puppy things. She's even walking on a leash around their property. <br/><br/>If you're looking for a stunning puppy who is equal parts adventure buddy and snuggle bug, June might just be your perfect match! June is a smart, affectionate Malinois mix puppy - she absolutely loves being held and will curl up in your lap whenever she gets the chance. This girl is bright, curious, and always eager to learn something new. We think June will thrive in an active home that can keep both her body and mind busy. Unlike your typical Mal mix, she does not have that crazy energy one would expect. It could be because she has 13 other breeds in her DNA. <br/><br/>At 13 weeks old, she's already showing signs of being a quick learner and would excel with opportunities to use her brain. Whether it's hiking, training classes, or backyard adventures, June is ready to be your enthusiastic sidekick. June is looking for a family that understands smart puppies grow into amazing dogs when given the exercise and love they need. If you're ready for a best friend who can keep up with your adventures and then snuggle on the couch afterward, June is ready to meet you! Being part Malinois, we are looking for homes that have previous GSD or similar experience. <br/><br/>She is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated to appropriate age. She will need more puppy shots, including rabies when she's 16 weeks. Puppies are good with dogs, cats, kids and more. Being a puppy, they will need lots of training, including housebreaking. Remember, puppies are cute, but they have sharp teeth, need to be fed 3 times a day and poop... a lot! <br/><br/>Each dog goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more. You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form and other paperwork at the time of adoption. <br/><br/>Adoptions typically take place in Stanwood.<br/>Adoption fee is $525. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3 and half of your adoption fee may be tax deductible. <br/><br/>Save-A-Mutt is a foster based rescue, we do not have a facility to visit. Our adoptions are typically done Monday - Saturday, we are closed on Sundays to give our volunteers at least one day off. You must be available to do meets and adoptions during that time frame. We can make exceptions only with the approval of the foster home.<br/><br/>Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north. We dont ship dogs, once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up your puppy.
