She gets along with most other dogs but can exert her dominance with certain dogs. She is smart as a whip and has the typical laid back temperament you would expect with a Shih Tzus. June weighs 10.8 lbs and is estimated to be 2 years old. She is missing an eye but it doesn't slow her down one bit! We do not know how June lost her eye as she came to us as a Stray with it already missing. <br/>June would be great as an only dog. She loves playing outside and lounging in the sun. <br/><br/>Like many rescue dogs, we're not sure how well housetrained June is. However, with gentle guidance, consistency, structure, and praise, he should be easy to train. <br/><br/>June is a coated dog (hair grows continuously) and will require professional grooming every 6-8 weeks. <br/><br/>Adoption Fee: $450<br/><br/>This fee includes at least one health exam with our veterinarian while in our care, spay/neuter, all vaccinations (including rabies, as age-appropriate), a pre-adoption professional grooming, and a microchip with lifetime registration at no additional cost. Dogs also leave with a new collar and/or harness, leash, and a gift bag that includes, among other things, a starter bag of the quality kibble currently fed at the rescue. Adoption fees also help us rescue the next homeless or unwanted dog in need.
