Juliet's Story

Sweet, mellow puppy looking for her person ? Honey is a 6-8 month old pitbull/boxer mix with the sweetest, most gentle personality. She's a smaller 'pocket pittie' at about 40 lbs currently. She's a great mix of playful and calm-she loves being cozy and lounging at home, but also enjoys the creek and getting out. She's also surprisingly mellow for her age, which makes her really easy to have around. She's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, potty trained, great on leash, and learns commands quickly (super smart!). Honey absolutely loves people and gets along great with other dogs. She has a more submissive, sensitive nature, so she would do best with a kind, non-dominant dog who won't bully her. She's incredibly affectionate and just wants to be close to her person-a total cuddle bug. Honey has some separation anxiety and would do best with an adopter who is home often and willing to work with her through it; she is eager to learn and responds well to structure and reassurance.
