Jude's Story

Jude was found abandoned with his skin in terrible condition, but just look at this handsome boy now! He is healing beautifully, his fur is growing back in, and we are finally getting to see just how handsome he really is.<br/><br/>Jude is about 6 months old, 30 pounds, and is a high-energy guy who is ready to make up for lost time. He is looking for an active family who wants a dog to join them for walks, hikes, adventures, and plenty of playtime. He is not looking for a couch potato lifestyle. This boy wants to GO!<br/><br/>Jude has already come such a long way from the condition he was found in. Now he just needs a family who can give him the life he should have had all along.

Prospective adopters complete a detailed application, provide personal and veterinary references (when applicable), and participate in an interview to help us understand their lifestyle, experience, and what they are looking for in a companion. We review each application to determine the best match based on the dog's needs, personality, and the adopter's home environment. Approved adopters must agree to provide appropriate veterinary care, keep the dog as an indoor family companion, comply with all applicable local laws, and return the dog to 603 Canine Rescue if they are ever unable to keep it. Our goal is to create safe, lasting placements that are in the best interest of both the dog and the adopting family.
