Our Mission
603 Canine Rescue is committed to giving dogs a second chance through ethical rescue, comprehensive veterinary care, responsible adoption practices, and lifelong support for adopters. We believe every dog deserves compassion, transparency, and the opportunity to thrive in a loving home. Through thoughtful matchmaking, community education, and partnerships with reputable rescue organizations, we strive to improve the lives of dogs and the families who welcome them.
Adoption Policy
603 Canine Rescue is committed to thoughtful, individualized adoptions rather than first-come, first-served placements. Prospective adopters complete a detailed application, provide personal and veterinary references (when applicable), and participate in an interview to help us understand their lifestyle, experience, and what they are looking for in a companion. We review each application to determine the best match based on the dog's needs, personality, and the adopter's home environment. Approved adopters must agree to provide appropriate veterinary care, keep the dog as an indoor family companion, comply with all applicable local laws, and return the dog to 603 Canine Rescue if they are ever unable to keep it. Our goal is to create safe, lasting placements that are in the best interest of both the dog and the adopting family.
