Judd's Story
Meet Judd: Soft as a Bunny, Smart as a Whip

Judd is a 5 month old male Australian Shepherd mix and the bigger brother in his litter of five weighing in at 36 pounds. He’s still very much a puppy, just packaged in a slightly sturdier frame, and he’s ready to grow into a loyal, thoughtful companion.

Judd is shy at first, especially around men, and appreciates a calm, patient approach while he gets his bearings. Once he feels safe, his true personality comes forward. He’s incredibly smart and learns quickly, the kind of pup who watches closely, figures things out fast, and wants to do things right.

As an Aussie mix, Judd needs both mental and physical outlets. A physically fenced yard is required so he has a safe place to run, play, and build confidence at his own pace.

Judd is already crate trained and potty trained, though like any young puppy he will need to go outside more frequently than an adult dog. With a consistent schedule, he does very well and continues to build great habits.

And then there’s the coat. Judd’s fur is famously soft. Think bunny-soft. The kind of dog you absentmindedly pet for five minutes and suddenly realize you’ve stopped everything else you were doing.

With patience, positive reinforcement, and steady routines, Judd is going to blossom into a devoted and intelligent companion. If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a quick mind and the softest coat around, Judd may be your perfect match.

Judd is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped.

If you’d like to meet Judd, please fill out an adoption application at www.furfunrescue.org.

If you have questions about Judd you can email rox@furfunrescue.org or call 319-929-6657.

Adopters must live within a two-hour radius of Cedar Rapids, IA.
Indoor homes only.
Adoption Fee: $300
