North Richland Hills Animal Adoption and Rescue Center's Adoption Policy

The North Richland Hills Animal Adoption & Rescue Center has a variety of dogs, cats and other small animals available for adoption. All animals adopted are surgically altered before leaving the AARC, unless determined by the shelter veterinarian to be too small, too young, or other health considerations, requiring postponement of the surgery. In these situations, the adopter will be scheduled at a later date to bring their new pet back to the AARC to be altered at no additional cost. What Adoption Includes: • Surgical Spay/Neuter • 24PetWatch Microchip w/ National Registration • 1-Year Rabies Vaccination • Dog Core Vaccinations: Preventing B. Bronchiseptica (Kennel cough), Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus Type-1 and Type-2 • Cat Core Vaccinations: Preventing B. Bronchiseptica, Feline Rhinotracheitis, Calici-Panleukopenia, and Chlamydia Psittaci • Heartworm Testing for Dogs 1-Year of Age and Older • Deworming • Flea/Tick Topical • 1-Year City Registration Tag for City of North Richland Hills Residents Adoption Fee: • $50.00 for Dogs • $25.00 for Cats • $25 for Extended Stay Pets that have been available for adoption for 30 days or longer The Animal Adoption & Rescue Center is located at 7301 Iron Horse Blvd in North Richland Hills Texas 76180.
