A team of volunteers in Jeju worked to catch a band of 6 stray dogs in a village by feeding them at stations and trapping them. They caught the first 5 dogs, but the 6th dog remained loose and when she re-appeared in the area she was accompanied by a litter of puppies. The continued to work to catch her and her puppies, and finally caught them all and got them into foster care.
Joy is one of the puppies from this litter. He is a playful young pup that does well with other dogs and is currently in a foster home with his brother, Cozy. Joy warms up quickly to new people, but if meeting new people in a home he may bark at the new person and be cautious around them at first. Joy has met a child around 5 years old and was friendly with the child.
Joy is good on leash but does pull when he sees birds or small animals he wants to chase, and is housebroken. He does get a little carsick (drools). He has not been cat tested. The ideal family for Joy is one that understands the responsibility of raising a young dog, and can commit to training him to be a great canine citizen!
