Hi, I'm Joy! My foster mom says I am just the sweetest thing, I think she's right! I just moved up north from Texas and somethings are still a bit scary for me. I'm so glad I have a dog friend in my foster home to make me more comfortable- I think I would like to have a dog friend in my forever home too. I love my foster mom and Dad, but I still get nervous when they approach me. I love to follow them around though, I let them know I'm there by bumping my nose against their legs. They're always surprised but I just want them to know I love them! My foster mom says I'm doing a great job learning to use the bathroom outside, but sometimes I still have accidents. She says I should go to obedience school with my new family. I'm learning to walk on a leash but I prefer to run free in a fenced in yard. I hear obedience school will help me learn to live in a house and build my confidence - that all sounds great! I can't wait to meet my forever family!
Compatibility:
Dogs: Yes
Cats: Yes
Kids: Yes, but really little ones might scare me
The Basics:
