Josie *Courtesy Cupid*'s Story

Josie is a pure bred Rottweiler. She loves her family and is great with kids of all ages. Josie is housebroken and crate trained. She feels safe in her crate and goes in and out of it freely when family is home. She still needs to be contained when family leaves. Josie is very food driven and knows basic commands. She takes daily walks and behaves on a leash. Josie has a lot of energy and needs to get a lot of exercise every day. She can get mischievous when not exercised. She is not used to the city and has been raised on a 2 acre unfenced yard. She behaves and stays in the yard off leash. She needs lots or room to run. Josie has been raised in a family with two children and two other older dogs. She has gotten increasingly dominant over the other female Rottweiler, causing fights between the two hence our need to re-home her. She is the youngest of the two other dogs in the home and has only had problems with the other female. She loves car rides, cuddling and licking. She is apprehensive of strangers and takes a bit to warm up. She has had multiple experiences at dog boarding and no reported behavioral problems while out of the care of her family. It is recommended that she be in a single dog home with an owner that can give her lots of exercise and attention.
