We don’t know how Josie ended up homeless or why nobody claimed her, but this sweet girl is brilliant, loves learning new things and being a sidekick!<br/><br/>She is about 2 years old, has been with kids 8+ years old. She is good with the elderly cats in her foster home, dogs of all sizes. <br/><br/>Josie loves having a dog buddy and loves doing all the things! She has been introduced to geese (does well), she loves playing frisbee, doing agility, fastcat (lure corse), going for walks, hikes, meeting people, learning new things (tricks are a favorite!). The way to Josie’s heart is through car rides. Yup, she is a car girl! <br/><br/>Josie's current "knowledge list" is:<br/>"Ready?" - she sits in front of me, making eye contact in prep for whatever she is asked to do.<br/>"Come" - she comes to her name, a whistle, come.<br/>Spin left - spins to the left<br/>Spin right - spins to the right<br/>Touch left - touches left hand at the height of my shoulder <br/>Touch right - touches right hand at the height of my shoulder<br/>"Get it" - will get item tossed<br/>"give" - will release what she has <br/>"off" - get off something <br/>Sit<br/>Down<br/>"Over"-jumps over things<br/>"Car ride" - loads in any car with an open door<br/>Kennel - goes in wire crate<br/><br/>If you are interested in getting started in dog sports or just having an activity buddy, Josie is the perfect girl for any job!<br/><br/>Josie is sure to make a great companion for a lucky person or family!<br/><br/>Increasingly, we are doing FOSTER TO ADOPT options!<br/>That’s where you and puppers make sure you’re a good fit for one another before signing on “the dotted line”….. it’s a win-win for everyone!
