JOLENE's Story

Jolene, affectionately called Jo-Jo, is a 3-month-old, 5.75lb black-and-white floof born in rescue to our beloved Mama Kensi. She has been raised in a loving foster home with lots of enrichment, other dogs of all sizes, and even cats, and shes growing into a confident, silly, affectionate little firecracker. Jo-Jo is doing very well with potty training for her age, uses washable potty pads and the doggy door, and loves zoomies, ball pits, brain games, and cuddle time just as much as wrestling with her siblings.

Go to www.pawsitiverestorations.com to learn about our dogs, read our adoption process, and submit an adoption application. Inquiries made on this site will NOT be seen or answered. Please do not message to ask if our dogs are still available. Go look on the website to see our currently available kiddos!

Pawsitive Restorations Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy
1. Read our adoption process at www.pawsitiverestorations.com 2. Complete an adoption application on www.pawsitiverestorations.com 3. Once an application has passed initial review, (and if they meet what we are looking for for the animal) a phone interview is held with the applicant to get a feel for what their home life/physical activity level/knowledge level etc are, and to guage if the applicant might be a good fit for the animal they wish to adopt 4. If the applicant and the animal appear to be a good match, a meeting will be arranged for the applicant to meet the dog in their foster home. 5. If the meeting goes well, and the applicant wishes to move forward with adoption, the applicant will place a $100 non-refundable deposit to hold the pet. A home visit will be performed to ensure the home is safe and appropriate for the pet being adopted. 6. Once the home visit is complete, you will meet with the Executive Director of P.R.A.R. to sign our adoption contract and go over medical/vaccine records. We will have a brief discussion about caring for this pet and keeping them safe. Your new pet will be on-site and ready to go home with you once the adoption meeting is complete and all documents have been signed. This meeting typically takes about 30 minutes – We ask that you please be prompt, as we typically have several appointments scheduled back-to-back. If you are late, we may have to reschedule your adoption. Please leave young children at home. They get really bored and can be very distracting while we are trying to talk about super important stuff ?
