Meet Jolene<br/>Perfect dog alert! This gorgeous girl is a gentle soul. We dont know what her life was like before being surrendered, but the pup we know is incredible. Since arriving to the care of our shelter, Jolene has been absolutely perfect. She is a dream dog and weve all fallen in love with her. <br/>Jolene is about 1.5 two years old. She is medium size. She walks lightly and moves softly. She has a pretty face, two different colored eyes, a soft coat and a happy waggle in her walk. Jolene is a Velcro dog. She wants to be wherever her person is. She is calm, easy-going, affectionate, sweet, and friendly. She moves quietly among her people and meets other dogs easily. She might really enjoy having another dog in the home for companionship. Jolene also gets along great with cats. <br/>Jolene walks well on a leash. She enjoys strolling and sniffing. She travels well in a car and enjoys going for rides. She is partially housetrained, and with consistency and a routine, shell learn fully. She is crate trained already and loves sleeping in a crate. It seems to be a safe space for her and she settles in. She may have a bit of separation anxiety but once she knows she is home and her life becomes stable, this may resolve itself. Jolene will need a containment fence to keep her safe. Shes had a very uncertain past and a fence will give her a place to run and play without worry. Adopters MUST come to the shelter to transport their new family member home. We do not ship, nor do we transport them to their new homes. Animals in our care remain safe with us until adopted. Resident animals are either owner relinquished rescued from area Animal Controls or high kill shelters. The facility usually operates at capacity with a list of animals waiting for space to open.
