Meet Jolene
Jolene, Jolene, Jolene Joleeennnee...I’m begging of you please give me a home. I am a happy-go-lucky country gal who is finally living the life that I never knew I deserved.
I am guessed to be a 1-2-year-old Shepherd/Beagle mix. Before rescue, I spent my entire life tied to a dog house, but my days of living in filth and neglect are over!
In my foster home, I love soaking up all the love and affection I can get! I get so excited to get pets that I could use some work on my jumping. I am happy to sleep on a comfy dog bed (it sure beats a straw doghouse) and love going for walks.
I love people, but would do best with OLDER KIDS. I was never socialized with other dogs until now. I am dog friendly and would PREFER A PLAYMATE, but I’ll need a day or two to warm up. NO CATS. I am house and crate trained. NO ELECTRIC FENCES. Physical fence preferred.
Like most guarding breeds, I bark when people walk by. I would NOT do well in an apartment.
