Joker is an 8 eight year old, 50 pound, neutered, American bully mix.

This sweet boy’s heart is somehow bigger than his head, and he loves to be cuddling with his person. He is a huge fan of pup cups and loves to stick his head out the window on drives. Even though he is an older man, he does love to get the zoomies and likes to pretend that he is quite the track star.

Joker would do best in a quiet home with no young children and where guests aren’t frequent, as he is very protective. He would thrive in a single person home as the only pet, but he has the ability to do well in a multi person household if he is surrounded by people who are dedicated to his success. The shelter he was pulled from said that he was dog friendly, but due to his protective nature, it would be best if there are no small dogs in the home.

He is very food motivated which makes him easy to train! He knows sit, lay down, takes treats gently, and walks well on a leash when paired with a harness. He even knows “wait” which we use to have him wait for his meals, to enter a room, or to leave his crate. Joker is a very intelligent dog and his potential is endless!

Joker really is the best of both worlds in terms of his energy. He loves nothing more than a good nap, but will happily play if you want to hype him up! He really just wants to be doing whatever you’re doing with you! Trust me, no one has a stronger snuggle game than this guy.
