Jojo's Story

Update Mojo was adopted!

Jojo(tricolor) and Mojo(adopted) are two of those puppies that make you smile the second you meet them. At about 5 months old and already around 40 pounds, these boys still have plenty of growing left to do. We were told they are Great Pyrenees and Heeler mixes, and they definitely have the makings of some big, handsome dogs.
Mojo(adopted) is the tan boy, and Jojo is his equally adorable brother. Both are incredibly sweet puppies with gentle personalities. They enjoy being outside, exploring new things, and spending time with people. They have that perfect mix of puppy curiosity and sweetness that makes everything they do endearing.
The boys can be a little shy when meeting new people, but it's simply because they haven't had a ton of socialization in their young lives. Once they realize you're friendly, they settle in nicely and are happy to hang out and soak up the attention.
They're at such a fun age right now. They're old enough that their personalities are really starting to shine, but still young enough to take on new experiences and adapt quickly. They would love families who are excited to continue introducing them to the world, teaching them new things, and watching them grow into the wonderful dogs we know they can be.
These sweet boys deserve more than growing up in a kennel. They deserve couches to nap on, yards to explore, and families to call their own.
If interested in adopting, please click the link below to fill out an application:
www.bellwetherharbor.org/adoptions/application-for-adoption/

Bellwether Harbor's Adoption Policy
Bellwether Harbor does not do same day adoptions. Please keep in mind multiple visits to the shelter may be required. This number is determined various factors including the potential adopter’s experience and the training level/potential behavior issues of the animal. If you are interested in adopting a dog or cat, please fill out an application on the shelter website. After the application has been received, the Adoption Coordinator will conduct a landlord check and vet check (where applicable). If approved, applicants are contacted for a phone interview, after which an appointment may be set up to meet the animal. Please note: Applying for an animal does not guarantee adoption of said animal. Adoptions are approved based on a variety of factors. We do our best to match animals with the best homes, not the first homes. It is possible that adoption of a specific animal will be denied even if the application is approved.
