Jojo's Story

Some lucky family is about to adopt a true unicorn!

Meet JoJo—just over a year old and about as close to the perfect dog as you'll ever find.

JoJo absolutely adores every person he meets and is incredible with other animals. I literally watched a fat chicken stroll about 10 inches in front of his face, and he didn't even blink. (Yes... the chicken was very much alive!) If you've been around dogs long enough, you know that's not something you see every day.

As if his personality wasn't enough, JoJo has already been professionally trained. He is:
Obedience trained
Crate trained
Potty trained
Leash trained
Off-leash trained
E-collar trained

And let's not forget... this boy is drop-dead gorgeous! With his big block head, slightly squishy face, and soulful eyes, he's guaranteed to melt your heart the moment you meet him.

The best part? His adoption doesn't mean you're on your own. JoJo comes with the continued support of his trainer, Morgan Locke of Lock It Down Dog Training, and of course, Rotten Rottie Rescue. Morgan will even provide a lesson or two to show you exactly how JoJo has been trained so you can build on his incredible foundation.

Dogs like JoJo don't come along very often. If you've been waiting for that once-in-a-lifetime Rottweiler, this is him.

Check out his amazing video below!

Our Adoption Process... If you are interested in adopting one of our fun loving not so rotten rotties, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire that will allows us to get to know you better and to make sure the dog you are looking at is a good fit for your family and lifestyle. You can access our questionnaire by going to our website, www.rottenrottie.com click on the adopt a rottweiler tab, then choose adoption application and fill out the questionnaire and submit it online. After we review your answers, if we feel that the dog that you are interested in, is not a good fit for you and your family, we may recommend a different rottweiler companion. After we determine which Rottweiler(s) is the best for you, we will set up a time so that you can meet him or her at their house, where they will feel most comfortable and act as they normally do. An adoption contract will be signed to finalize the adoption and we do ask for a rehoming fee of $500 for most adults, $400 for most of our seniors 6 years and above for any rottweiler mix of any age (except puppies) . Our fees for puppies fluctuate depending on how much we had to invest into them or their litter, and weather they are purebred or a mix. These funds are necessary so that our organization may continue to rehome rottweilers. ALL of our dogs are sterilized, fully vaccinated and microchipped, heartworm tested negative and come with a collar and a leash. We have also addressed any injury or illness that they had when they came to us, or received in foster care. These problems will be disclosed to the adopter prior to adoption.
