JOHN MARLOWE (Neutered!) Cattle Dog Crossville, TN

JOHN MARLOWE weighed 33 pounds when he arrived with his buddy ROOSTER in early June. The two boys are estimated to be six months old and are listed as cattle dog mixes. Thanks to a partnership between the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, and Cumberland County Animal Shelter, Crossville, JOHN was neutered and received a rabies vaccine in July. As a result, JOHN will be able to go home the same day that he is adopted. JOHN MARLOWE is a friendly and playful dog who enjoys being housed with his buddy at the shelter while they await their turn to be adopted. They were dropped off together at the shelter, so there is no real background information on the two young male dogs. If you are a serious adopter, staff encourages you to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. The shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or change. So, please go prepared! That includes taking a dog collar and leash with you to the appointment in case you do decide to adopt this dog. It is highly recommended that you also take a dog crate. No animal should be allowed to run freely in any vehicle. Especially an animal that you have just adopted! Safety first!
