John came to us all the way from Tennessee through our partnership with Bissell, helping support struggling southern shelters, and we're so glad he did. He was noted to be great with kids, cats, and other dogs, and since his arrival he's been nothing but pleasant-so much so that everyone loves taking him out for walks. When John isn't strolling along nicely on leash or soaking up cuddle time, he enjoys keeping himself busy by playing fetch (yes, even bouncing tennis balls in his kennel-clearly a super smart boy!) and chewing on his Nylabones. He's the perfect balance of independent and affectionate, walks well on leash, and is nice and quiet too.
