Joey is a 10 year old Chihuahua mix looking for a home. His owner died, leaving behind 3 terrified Chihuahuas. There was no family to take them in sadly.<br/><br/>He's starting to come around to us. <br/>It turns out he's just a sensitive little senior guy who just wants to feel safe again. <br/>We’re seeing huge improvements in his personality, but he still desperately needs a home to continue healing. He barks when new people enter the room, but now he greets us with enthusiastic curiosity.<br/><br/>He doesn’t deserve to spend his final years here.<br/>He is all bark, no bite.<br/>He needs a calm home, patience, and someone willing to let him move at his own pace. Someone with a secure fenced yard, or willing to let him use pads.
