Hello there! My name is Joey, and I am an adult dog with a puppy heart seeking a forever home. I'm hoping to find a family that will give me all the love and belly rubs my heart desires. I promise to be your loyal companion through thick and thin and to bring joy and laughter into your life. I'm eager to go on adventures and make new memories with you. Could you be the one I've been waiting for?<br/>I do great with other female dogs but don't like being around other males. I'm older but have a young at heart personality. I love to play but I get tired easily as an older pup and can't wait to hit the couch for some snoozing afterwards. I was run over as a puppy and have some issues with my leg, especially in the cold, but that doesn't get me down. I'm potty trained although I may have an accident if not let out, I'm crate trained, leash trained, great with kids, and love all people. I was given a home and made a mistake which made my people upset so I was returned to the rescue and now I'm waiting for another chance at a family.
