Meet Joe in CT - Always Happy & Smiling!

This very handsome pup is Joe and he is the sweetest boy! Joe is such a happy guy, always seems to have a big Pyr smile on his face, and he is great with everyone he meets! Joe was purchased from a breeder to guard some chickens but sadly, Joe was abandoned by his owners and kindly picked up by a Good Samaritan in Tennessee who reached out to us for rescue help. He is a very friendly lovable guy, good with other dogs and friendly to everyone he has met along the way. He walks well on leash and he appears to be a well-mannered boy. He is even well-behaved with the cats he has met. Joe is a young, big puppy who is ready for a great home of his own. He is a smiley happy boy with a great personality ready to be your new best friend. Joe loves walks, playing out in the yard with his canine and feline pals and he did great in the car. We just love this big happy guy and so will you. Joe loves attention and affection, he is such a sweet pup! We cannot wait to see this very handsome boy find a great home of his own! Joe is looking for a great home or foster home for him to go to. Could it be yours?

Due to the high level of interest we can't respond to emails unless an application has been submitted.

Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature (www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed) and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority.

Secure VISIBLE fencing is required; invisible fencing WILL NOT contain this breed.
