Jimmy Choo's Story
Jimmy Choo was surrendered to Orange County Animal Care by his owner for unknown reasons. On August 17th, we welcomed this adorable scruffy boy as a Frosted Face. Jimmy Choo is 12 years old and weighs 12 pounds. On our weekly FFF Sunday hikes, this little guy has proven to be quite the good hiker and a great companion on the trail. He happily accepts treats and enjoys pets.

Jimmy Choo went on a two-week Frosted Fling where he was loved and pampered while we learned more about him in a home environment. His foster shared this glowing report of their time together:
"Jimmy Choo is unsure about new people but warms up quickly. He's an all-around good boy, good with humans and dogs, and loves attention. He has the most darling little face! Jimmy did fine with both of my senior dogs, one is grouchy and solitary, one is friendly and loving. Despite Jimmy being iffy about being picked up, he has let me do it a few times! When I'm sitting on the sofa, he likes to get real close and cuddly and will drape himself across my lap. It's so cute! I take that opportunity to put my arm under him and stand up. Feels like a big accomplishment! If we had a few more weeks together, I think I'd be able to pick him up normally.

Jimmy is eager to follow me around the house, but he also settles down quickly when he sees I'm seated at my desk or the sofa. When it's time to go outside for potty, he springs right up and enjoys strolling around the yard, sniffing and exploring. He has a lot of pep in his step. When I leave the house, I don't hear any crying or barking. I check my camera soon after I leave the house. and it's still nice and quiet. He's just snoozing away on the sofa.

Jimmy LOVES food. When it's doggie mealtime, I feed him separately. He likes to get into my guys' food, and they don't like that. Jimmy sleeps through the night and wakes up around 7am. If I'm not ready to get up, I can ignore him for a bit, and he'll settle back into bed, which is nice for me. He sleeps on a doggie bed on the floor but would love to share a bed with his human.

Jimmy is a good tv watching buddy, but he also is good company when I'm outside gardening or doing chores. He's happy to be hanging out wherever I am. If you're looking for a devoted little companion who will always look at you with love in his eyes and a wagging tail, please consider adopting Jimmy!"

To meet this special little guy, please email:
placement@frostedfacesfoundation.org
