Once upon a time, there lived a tiny Shih Tzu princess named Jilly. She was lost, alone and was almost hit by a car! Jilly was so scared and confused until her fairy dog-mother from Hero Dog Rescue arrived. Once Jilly was safe in a foster home her dreams of the future began. <br/><br/>In my fairy tale, Jilly thought, wagging her tail like a wand, my new family will understand that I need to sniff and feel safe before hugs and cuddles. Once I do, Ill be a faithful shadow, a lap-warmer, and a loyal little guardian.<br/><br/>She imagined a castle where she could zoom across green meadows, lounge on soft blankets in her enchanted crate, and go for rides in magical chariots (aka cars).<br/><br/>Jilly imagined her new life: no pesky cats or loud, scary kids just loving grown-ups and maybe a polite pup friend who wants to play. With a pack leader to guide her, she would sprinkle every day with joy, laughter, and snuggles.<br/><br/>And so, under the moonlight, Jilly promised, When you find me, dear family, we will live happily ever afterwith zoomies, wagging tails, and love that lasts forever.<br/><br/>The magical pup let out a tiny yawn and drifted to sleep, waiting for her fairy tale ending to come true. <br/><br/>The End. Before inquiring, we thought it was important to share a few of our policies. <br/><br/>Your Current Pets - We do require that your current dogs and cats are current on vaccines and spayed/neutered. <br/><br/>Adoptions - We do not have a shelter and are a foster-home based organization. We do require that you have an approved adoption application to schedule a meet and greet. You can fill out an adoption application on our website, www.herorescue.org/adopt. Once your application is approved it will be sent to the foster family that is currently caring for the dog. They will be able to provide information on likes, dislikes, personality, etc. They will also schedule a time for you to meet the dog. We do require a home visit prior to adoption.<br/><br/>Inquiries - If you would like more information on any dogs in the rescue, please email us at info@herorescue.org.
