This adorable pup spent the first four months of her life in a puppy mill, so she’s still learning all about the wonderful things that come with being a beloved family dog.<br/><br/>Jill wasn’t used to being picked up or showered with affection, so when someone reaches for her, her first reaction is usually a little “No thank you, I’m not quite sure about this!” But with patience, kindness, and positive, force-free training, Jill is learning that hands reaching for her can mean good things—and she is making great progress!<br/><br/>Once Jill is safely in your arms, though, she’s perfectly happy to hang out and soak up the love. She absolutely loves her toys, chewing on her favorite bones, and playing, but her favorite activity might just be settling in beside you for some serious cuddle time.<br/><br/>Curl up on the couch with a good book or turn on some TV, and Jill is happy to be your little snuggle buddy. She’s discovering that life isn’t just about surviving—it’s about toys, cozy naps, belly rubs, and having a person of her very own.<br/><br/>Jill will need a family who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her continue building confidence at her own pace. In return, you’ll get to watch this sweet girl blossom into the happy, silly, affectionate pup she was always meant to be. <br/><br/>Jill is ready to leave her past behind and start her next chapter—with a family who will show her just how wonderful being loved can be! <br/><br/>This dog is being fostered in Rochester, NY, by Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions.
