Jewels is ready for meet and greets

Jewels is in a foster home in Portland and is ready to find her forever family. She can travel to Washington for meet and greets.<br/><br/>Jewels is a beautiful Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix, she weighs about 40 pounds and is about two years old. Jewels was living at the Sand Plant with other dogs before they were rescued. She was hit by a car and her leg was broken. After vet care, she has fully recovered from her fractured femur and is doing great. She is both dog and cat friendly and enjoys having them as companionship. She has done well around the children she has seen.<br/><br/>Jewels is a cross between two working breeds, she is very smart and enjoys the outdoors and exploring. If you know cattle dogs, you know the type. She definitely needs a fenced yard as she would utilize the yard on a daily basis. She loves to have a job. <br/><br/>Jewels is a leader so a companion dog should be okay with being the follower:) She has the brain of a working dog, so she enjoys being busy. She is both crate trained and house trained.
