Meet JEWEL

**** Please read adoption information carefully!!!****

Jewel is a sweet, special little girl! She is very curious, athletic, affectionate and loving.

She is a lap dog. When not playing or investigating the yard, she prefers to snuggle and curl up next to or on top of you.

Jewel was rescued after being hit by a car. A kind man fed and protected her until he found someone (me in this case), who could/would help her.

She required multiple orthopedic surgeries and casts, and physical therapy to fix the breaks/damage. She is fully recovered. She is NOT special needs.

Jewel has full function and range of motion in affected hip and femur. She can run, walk, play, jump, and even stand on her hind legs like normal. There’s not even a limp, or hitch in her step. But she is very used to being handled!

Jewel is a well-adjusted puppy who has been hand raised. She has never shown any signs of aggression of any kind, including food aggression. All of the puppies are fed together, and typically choose to share three or four bowls.

Jewel is used to playing and sleeping with the other dogs on the property. She is well socialized, both with humans and dogs. She is also very respectful and good with cats.
