This handsome dude is Jett! Though he may appear bigger in his pictures, he’s an adorable 15 lb, 3 month old lab mix. He has the prettiest jet black coat! And in typical lab fashion, he is super affectionate and absolutely loves to play with his furry foster siblings. He’s a very confident and smart little guy that is not afraid of much and always looking to explore. He loves everyone he meets! He’s getting better and better at potty and kennel training. He still has occasional accidents being a puppy of course, but he gets it’s completely and can hold it overnight in his kennel. He doesn’t mind car rides as long as he has a toy. He would make a great addition to any family looking for a funny, loving little pup with lots of fun energy.

All known details about our animals are posted on their profile and updated daily. Other info would be discussed in detail with the foster during the application review process. Due to the number of introductions/questions received (hundreds daily) we ask you submit an application on our website (that application can be used for any dog with Take Paws Rescue). The adoption fee for puppies covers initial deworming, puppy vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter at the rescue's approved vet at 6 months of age. Please see our website for more information.

2024 Adoption Fee Scale for non-benefactor animals:
Puppies under 12 months - $350.
Dogs over 12 months - $250.

2024 Benefactor Adoption Fee Scale:
Benefactor Puppies under 12 months - $550
Benefactor Dogs over 12 months - $450

*Take Paws Rescue saves dogs from high-kill shelters in Southeast Louisiana, owner surrenders, and discarded dogs with uncertain futures. All of our puppies live in foster homes where they are socialized, and well cared for. An application will be required to make sure it’s the perfect match!
