Jett's Story

Hi there! My name is Jett, and I'm a 6-month-old, neutered black Lab mix with a sleek coat, a heart full of hope, and so much love just waiting to be given.Growing up in a shelter means I haven't seen much of the big, wide world yet. Because of that, I can get a little scared and worried when meeting new people for the first time. But if you give me just a moment to realize I'm safe, you'll get to see my absolute favorite party trick—I flash an adorable, goofy smile whenever I get super excited!

Here is what my dream forever home looks like:An Active Family: I've got that classic puppy energy! I would love a family that will take me on hikes, teach me to fetch, and keep my mind and body moving. A Confident Dog Sibling: I do best when I have a confident, friendly playmate to look up to. Having a canine brother or sister will help show me the ropes and teach me that the world isn't so scary after all.Patience and Guidance: I'm already kennel trained, which is a huge plus! But I am looking for a family that understands I'm a work in progress. I need humans who will protect my boundaries, advocate for me when I'm nervous, and patiently help me grow into the best, most confident version of myself. If you are looking for a loyal, smiling companion to join your adventures and you're ready to show me how wonderful life can be, I'm ready to give you my whole heart.

If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!)

My adoption fee is $350 and I am neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations and prevenatives

**Note: I am fostered up in Fairplay**
