Jessie

Jessie is an adorable English (bluetick) coonhound. She is 9 months old and an incredible girl. She can be shy when first meeting you, but warms up quickly. She is learning how to be a loved family member. Jessie grew up in a small pen at a hunters home and never given the chance to run and play or be a puppy. <br/><br/>We rescued her at 3 months old and she has been with us ever since searching for her forever home. She would love for that to finally happen! She needs an adopter who is experienced with shy rescue dogs and knows that it takes time and effort to gain her trust. She is still learning to walk on the leash, but getting much better. She is crate trained, house trained, and kid, cat, and dog friendly. <br/><br/>Jessie would prefer another dog in the home to help give her some confidence. She adores children of all ages and is very gentle.
