Jessica is brand new to Real Good Rescue, and we’re letting her take things at her own pace.<br/><br/>The day we met her was the day her family of four years surrendered her to the shelter because they were moving. She was sitting in her kennel, shaking, trying to make sense of everything that had just changed.<br/><br/>She came in with another dog (Jimmy), and that was clearly a source of comfort for her in a really overwhelming environment.<br/><br/>Right now, Jessica is in her decompression phase, which means we’re giving her the time and space to feel safe again before asking too much of her. We don’t know everything about her yet, and we won’t pretend to. What we do know is that she is incredibly sweet.
