Meet Jersey-Adopted!

Jersey is a young Terrier mix. She was found by one of our volunteers roaming the streets of Detroit. She was almost hit by a Semi truck trying to get to a slice of pizza. She is a sweet, smart and happy girl. She enjoys playing with her foster sister and her toys. She takes everything into her crate for "safe keeping". She is very fearful of new people. Because of this we would not recommend a family with small children. She will need someone who is willing to take the time to let her learn to trust you. It does not take long for her to feel safe with someone and once she does she just wants to cuddle and give kisses. She gets so excited when her foster mom comes in the house, she puts on a big smile and wiggles her butt. When something frightens her she retreats to her crate, which is her safe place. Jersey will make a great companion if you are willing to invest the time in her and she is well worth it Birth date estimate 11/24/16
