JERRY is patiently waiting for someone to notice him.<br/><br/>This handsome, one-year-old natural red boy lost his family when they moved out of the country and left him with their neighbors. Jerry is a sweet boy who prefers people to other dogs and would do best in a home with a fenced yard. He has so much love to give and happily wags his tail when his favorite volunteers come to see him. He’s a good boy who would love nothing more than to find his forever family and finally go home. Please share to help make that happen.<br/><br/>05/20/26. It’s raining reds—meet JERRY! This all-natural, 1-year-old Doberman boy was left with a neighbor when his owners moved to Europe. Unfortunately, the neighbor wasn’t able to keep him, so she brought him to us to help him find his furever home.<br/><br/>Jerry is a sweet guy who can be a little cautious when meeting new people at first, but he warms up quickly with a little time and patience. We’re still getting to know him, but he already seems to crave affection and attention.<br/><br/>He can be leash-reactive around other dogs, so he’ll do best with a confident, experienced handler on walks. Since he’s still a pup, he’ll need some training—but with the right adopter, he’s sure to grow into a loyal, loving companion.Not every dog is available for adoption or need a foster - some are wards of the rescue (usually due to medical reasons, but sometimes behavioral). These dogs will always be supported by DRL. We welcome financial support for these dogs.
