Jeremy's Story

A good Samaritan contacted us about a skinny, matted, scruffy white terrier that had been found collapsed in a greenbelt, malnourished and barely able to move. His finders took care of him while trying to find his owners, but eventually reached out to us for help when no owners were found. We immediately had our vets check him out and found that he is estimated to be about 11 years old and needed a dental cleaning. The dogtor heard a heart murmur so first Jeremy saw the cardiologist, who said his heart changes are "not of immediate concern,” prescribed some medication, and cleared him to schedule his dental.

Jeremy’s dental went well and he now is ready for his forever home. Is it with you?

Jeremy is a man who knows what he wants. He likes comfy dog beds, cozy kennel caves, and yummy food. He will bark when he needs to go outside and does well on a leash. He also does well with his furry foster siblings but doesn’t need to have a furry friend in his furever home.

He also knows what he doesn’t want. He does not like surprises, so he would be best with an all-adult home. Any visiting children will need to be supervised with him.

Age: 11 years old
Weight: 13 lbs
Dogs: Ok
Cats: unknown
Children: no

Jeremy has been vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption donation is $250 and includes a minimum of 90 days medications, 6 months’ heartworm preventative, prepaid lifetime premium microchip registration, and safety harness

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting Jeremy, please apply online at wsrh.com

Please do NOT send inquiries via Adopt A Pet or PetFinder as we are a small rescue and cannot handle a large number of inquiries. If you have a specific question, please email us at westiehouston@gmail.com but in order to be considered for adoption, you must complete an application.

All dogs are available until “Adoption Pending” is noted next to their names.
