Jenny is an approximately 3-year-old Great Pyrenees mix who is looking for a family willing to help her become the very best version of herself. She came to us because she was simply too much for her previous family, who weren't able to provide the training, structure, and outlets for energy that this young girl needed.<br/>Jenny has experience both indoors and outdoors and is housebroken. She is also wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs, making her a very social girl! Here at the shelter, Jenny has a surprisingly calm demeanor, but we have a feeling that once she gets into a comfortable home environment, we'll see much more of her personality blossom.<br/>One of Jenny's favorite things is going for car rides! ???? She's always ready to hop in and see where the next adventure takes her.<br/>Jenny does have storm anxiety that her future family will need to be prepared for. During storms, she can become anxious, destructive, and have a difficult time settling if she isn't given a distraction or a quiet, secure place to decompress. Having a plan for storms and providing her with a safe space will be an important part of helping Jenny succeed.<br/>Jenny isn't looking for a perfect family—she's looking for a stable one. She needs someone who understands that young, energetic dogs sometimes need patience, consistency, training, and time.
