Jenny Jindo Gardnerville, NV

Pretty little Jenny arrived in Nevada to her foster home a few weeks ago, from the Palmdale Shelter in California.
(She arrived with another stray dog-Jemma-who may be related to her, perhaps her sister??)

She is approx.. 2 years old, friendly and playful. Her weight is a little over 40lbs.
Jenny can be a little standoffish at first but loves to run & play in the yard.
She has the most wonderful ears and holds them like the character “Yoda” and is absolutely adorable.
She seems to love everyone-kids, adults, men, women etc.
She particularly loves belly rubs after she settles in and feels relaxed around her people.
She uses a dog door well, and seems fine with other dogs with slow intros. (We recommend caution and patience when introducing any dog to another, regardless of breed).
She is crate trained and does not mind hanging out in it for a few hours-and at times over night.
She is fine on a leash but could use a bit more training on leash-she wants to see the world and do it now!! "Hurry up", she says!! But she is leaning self-control. She seems a bit too interested in cats-so we would recommend she goes to a home without cats or small animals.
Currently she is housed with her sister and we feed them apart due to some dinner time growling-so we set them up for success. They came into foster underweight so they were either loose for a while or neglected but she has put on weight and looks great. She loves taking a bone from you as a treat.
