Jeffrey is still a growing puppy and we do expect him to get larger. Jeffrey arrived in rescue after being from an accidental litter. He has been thriving in foster care, but is ready to find a family that is up for all of the puppy challenges, such as leash training, house training, continued socialization and learning what to chew and not chew. His foster mom says: Jeffrey is a happy little Shih Tzu mix with a playful spirit and a serious love for cuddle time. He’s the kind of puppy who wants to be involved in everything you’re doing, whether that means chasing toys, wrestling with his puppy friends, or curling up beside you for a nap afterward. Jeffrey is still working on housetraining and will need a family willing to keep him on a frequent potty schedule while he learns. He can be vocal when he’s looking for attention or ready to play, and his adorable enthusiasm often means he’s right at your feet, so a home without small children, toddlers, or senior adults would be the best fit. Jeffrey also enjoys rough-and-tumble puppy play, making him better suited for a home without elderly dogs that may not appreciate his energy level. He’s a fun, affectionate little guy with lots of love — and personality — to give.<br/><br/>Jeffrey is neutered, up to date on vaccines, on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped.<br/><br/>Jeffrey is fostered in the Orlando area and his adoption donation is $525.
