Jayna's Story

Jayna may technically be a senior, but you'd never know it! This sweet little girl is full of life, loves to play, and is always carrying around her favorite toys. She greets you with full-body wiggles and happy jumps every time you walk through the door-even if you've only been gone an hour.

Jayna is incredibly smart, comes running when you call her, and wants nothing more than to be wherever her people are. After playtime, she's just as happy curling up beside you for a nap or snuggle. She gets along well with cats and other dogs, has wonderful house manners, and is doing great with leash walking.

While she may be a little toothless, don't let that fool you-it certainly doesn't slow her down! She still loves to play, carries her toys around proudly, and has a joyful, puppy-like spirit that makes everyone smile. She is scheduled to have a full dental evaluation at the end of August.

Jayna may not be a show dog, but what she lacks in perfect looks, she more than makes up for with personality, affection, and heart. She's ready to find the family who will appreciate just how special she is. She came in to rescue with severe skin disease and now has a luscious coat. She has been referred to a specialty Dermatology vet to help her glow even more.

Jayna is selective with people and other dogs so she would do best as an only dog or with another gentle playful companion. She would also benefit from an adopter that is dedicated to her ongoing medical needs and that will be patient with gaining her trust.
