Jaxtyn absolutely loves affection and thrives on the connection he makes with his humans. While he does prefer a slower introduction when meeting new people, he quickly becomes comfortable and loves to show off his impressive manners. Jax gets along well with other dogs after proper introductions (he can still be wary of new friends he meets on the street), and while he would enjoy a dog sibling to nap and play with, he would be just as happy as an only dog where he can be the center of attention.

Jaxtyn has been working diligently on his training with his foster dad and has an impressive skillset that includes focus and release commands, expert-level leash-walking skills, and all of his basic commands like sit', down', and wait'. Jaxtyn is fully house and crate-trained and thrives with structure and routine.

Jaxtyn is currently working to gain more confidence on walks around things like bikes, scooters, or busy sidewalks and he's making stellar progress. Jaxtyn would do great in a home in the city as he's shown he can be comfortable in an urban setting or would love a more low-key house in the suburbs with a yard to romp and roam in. Bonus - he's great in the car so he'd be thrilled to be your adventure buddy!
