Jax's Story
Meet Jax!

Breed: Chihuahua
Gender: Male
Age: Adult - Estimated Age 2 years
Size: Small (11.8 lbs)
Good with: Submissive dogs, people who want ALL the affection

Jax is affection in the shape of a dog—with people, anyway! Kisses, cuddles, the whole bit. This little Chihuahua absolutely adores his humans and will shower them with love at every opportunity. He likes to play with toys and loves to play fetch with his people, making him the perfect interactive companion who actually wants to engage with you (not all small dogs are into fetch, so this is a bonus!).

Now, here's where Jax shows his personality: he can be a bit of a play yard bully. He's selective with the dogs he lets into his play area—he's not mean about it, he just knows who he likes and who he doesn't. Jax has OPINIONS about his social circle and isn't afraid to enforce his boundaries. He gets along great with the submissive dogs in his playgroup and has a blast running along the fence with the dogs in the other yards. And fair warning: this boy is FAST. Like, impressively fast.

Jax would do best in a home with either no other dogs or with very submissive, calm dogs who won't challenge his authority. He's the kind of dog who wants to be the boss of the canine social structure but will be absolutely devoted and affectionate to his humans. Think of him as a tiny CEO—he runs a tight ship with other dogs but is all cuddles and kisses with his people.

If you're looking for a small, fast, playful companion who will love you hard and run the household (at least the dog side of it), Jax is ready to zoom into your heart!

Ready to welcome Jax into your life?
